they do the emissions and safety conversion, but would not detail what those were. In addition to the emissions changes that they make, they also have to run an emissions test which they claim runs $2200-$2500 depending on the year of the vehicle. The $17,500 is actually my cost. I looked into it from a personal stand point earlier this year but haven't found out what a dealer price would be or if they would have any kind of a discount at all. They also pay all the required liscensing fees to make it California street legal. I don't know if it would be less for other states. I would imagine that I could get the $17,500 down to the $13,000-$15,000 range, but still that seems a bit high to me.
